Dear Delegates,
It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I extend my warmest greetings and support for the upcoming 16th Asian Congress of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, scheduled to be held in Chennai, India, in July 2024.
The choice of Chennai as the venue for this significant event holds particular significance, as the Asian Congress returns to India after the last gathering in Mumbai in 2002. This reflects the growing importance and recognition of India's contributions to the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Gunaseelan Rajan, the current President of the Asian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Chairman of the 16th Asian Congress, for his leadership and dedication to advancing our field. Under his guidance, I am confident that the Congress will provide a platform for rich discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among experts in the region.
As the President of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), I assure you of our full support and commitment to ensuring the success of the 16th ACOMS. Our members are eager to participate actively and contribute to the scientific and educational endeavors that the Congress promises.
I look forward to witnessing the success of this Congress, fostering camaraderie, and advancing the standards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Asian region.
Wishing you all the best in your preparations.
Warm regards,
Dr. Bhagavandas Rai
President
Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI)
